This page is offered to inform hosting companies and postmasters of the policies of Ezine-Engine.com
Dear Postmaster,
I've linked to this page from the X-Mailer header of every mail that is sent by Ezine-Engine so you'll have the opportunity to understand who is sending the newsletter you are examining.
About The Service
Ezine-Engine.com is a free subscription management, newsletter mailing, and autoresponder service.
The policies of Ezine-Engine are:
All subscriptions are confirmed opt-in. That is, subscribers must both submit a subscribe form AND click a link in a confirm email before being added to any list. In no circumstance (no exceptions) can authors manually add subscribers to any list. In no circumstance (no exceptions) can authors import lists in to their accounts. Every newsletter sent contains a one click unsubscribe link at the bottom of the newsletter. If readers click on this link, they are immediately removed from the mailing list for that newsletter. Every newsletter sent reminds the reader what email address they are subscribed with, the date they subscribed, and the IP address of the computer they used to subscribe. Every newsletter sent provides the author's postal address, as required by CanSpam. I personally monitor every newsletter sent through the system, though I may not always review a mailing the same day it is sent. Ezine-Engine will not knowingly deliver adult content, hate based content, highly offensive content, or any any content that is known to be illegal in the United States.
If you have concerns about any newsletter that Ezine-Engine has delivered to your system, please use the contact button in the sidebar to bring your concerns to my attention.
About The Owner
My name is Phil Tanny, I'm the creator and owner of Ezine-Engine.
I've been working online since 1995. In the mid 90's I built one of the Net's list host / ezine ad agencies, a company called OakNet Publishing. I have extensive experience educating Net authors in how to send bulk email responsibly. OakNet was sold to Advertising.com in 2000.
Sincerely,
Phil Tanny
